From the Director:      

                      The library has started a new fiscal year and a new chapter. For those of you that don’t know me, here’s my quick introduction. I have worked at the library for over 20 years, first as a part-time reference assistant, then as Head of Reference and, for the past 11 years, as Assistant Director. Please feel free to stop in and say hello!

            Our youth department has started its summer  reading program “One World, Many Stories.” Pick up a brochure at the youth services desk.

            Ironically, as we’re learning about different countries and cultures in the youth department, our Family Literacy program has been eliminated, at least for the summer months.

            Please note the library’s new hours: we will close at 1 p.m. on Fridays and will be closed Saturdays and    Sundays.

            These were very difficult decisions to make and we are working hard to restore hours and services.
